Assistance Provided: Financial assistance for breast cancer and ovarian cancer patients in North Texas. Assistance can be used for day-to-day expenses such mortgage/rent, utilities, childcare, transportation, and food.
Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance- COCA Cares Financial Assistance Program (Colorado, Ovarian Cancer)
Assistance Provided: Financial assistance for eligible ovarian cancer patients residing in Colorado for the following expenses:
- Monthly financial assistance for basic living expenses like rent, mortgage, medical insurance premiums, groceries, childcare, transportation and utilities. $500/month/six months.
- Medical expense assistance associated with seeing a Gynecologic Oncologist for a first-time or second opinion visit. $500 maximum.
- Limited transportation assistance to join a clinical research drug trial. $500 maximum.
- The COCACares program pays vendors directly and does not award funds directly to individuals.
- Lifetime assistance limit total of $1,000 per person.
Eligibility Requirements: Applicant must be a resident of Colorado and be diagnosed with ovarian cancer. In addition, applicant must be in active treatment for ovarian cancer or had surgery for ovarian cancer within the last 2 months. If the applicant requires assistance with the cost of a visit to a Gynecologic Oncologist, she must have no health insurance or health insurance that will not cover the cost of a second opinion.
Applicant must show financial need through proof of income and assets.
(NJ, will consider NY, PA, and DE applicants; Ovarian Cancer only)
Assistance Provided: Financial assistance for the day-to-day living expenses of ovarian cancer patients, such as medical expenses, transportation, gas, food, utilities, wigs, etc. Each approved request is for an initial amount of up to $1,000 to be provided over a 12-month period from the date of the initial disbursement. Additional funds may be requested and are made available at the discretion of the Board of Trustees.
Eligibility Requirements: Ovarian cancer patients residing in NY, NJ, PA, or DE.

(Ovarian Cancer Only)
Assistance Provided: $500 per patient per month for post-diagnosis medical bills for treatment of ovarian cancer. Patient may re-apply every month. Payments are made to the facilities, reimbursements to the patients will not be considered for funding.
Eligibility Requirements: Applicant must be a US citizen or US permanent resident who is 35 years old or younger.
Application Process: Applicant should be prepared to provide three (3 ) non-relative character references, including medical personnel, co-workers, employer, etc.
(Minnesota residents only, breast and women’s cancers (cervical, ovarian, uterine)
Assistance Provided: Financial assistance for basic living expenses, such as rent, mortgage, car payments, heat, electricity, water, phone, and some medical bills. The maximum amount of assistance for patients is $1,500 per year.
Eligibility Requirements: Applicant must be a breast or gynecological cancer patient at North Memorial, Unity, Mercy, New River or Ridgeview Medical Centers in Minnesota.
Application Process: Applicant must include a copy of the bill(s) with your application. If the bill is for rent, please include a copy of the lease. All payments are made directly to the creditor.
(Phoenix, Scottsdale, and surrounding areas in Arizona; Ovarian Cancer or other gynecological cancers)
Assistance Provided: Financial assistance for prescribed medication or diagnostic evaluation procedures.
Eligibility Requirements: Applicant must be an ovarian or gynecological cancer patient in active treatment in Phoenix, Scottsdale, or a surrounding area in Arizona. Applicant must meet financial need as determined by the staff of the doctor treating the patient.
Application Process: When a patient is unable to pay for medication or diagnostics prescribed by her physician, and financial need has been established, Sisters in Surival is notified by her doctor’s office. SIS does not give money directly to patients. All patient referrals to Sisters In Survival must come through a treating physician’s office.
(Cervical Cancer Only)
Assistance Provided: Organization offers three different financial assistance programs:
1. Gift of Giving– financial assistance for the day-to-day expenses of cervical patients and survivors
2. Gift of Love– a thank-you gift to caretakers
3. Gift of Love– financial assistance for fertility preservation, surrogacy, or adoption
Eligibility Requirements: Applicant must be a cervical cancer patient or survivor.
